  2. Qoroz Freedom Won

A beautiful Titanium minibike, similar to Tyrell bikes, but with couplers to separate. It fits into a suitcase small enough for airline legal hand luggage. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2451/4008748089_a39aa00c79.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2606/3994053660_e7401af8c9.jpg ...

Well after much deliberation, I have to part with my folder.. My strida that pretty much laid the ground work between areaware and its 2009 line up of bikes with, lleather grips/saddles and lead to the added design of riser bars for taller riders etc. It just annoys me to heck that everytime i...

  5. How do you change tubes on the rear wheel of a Brompton if you have a flat?

The rear wheel has a hex nut on the right side with the shifter chain going into it. I don't see how you loosen nuts on both ends of the wheel and the wheel would drop out so you can change the tube.

Over the next n months I'll be boring the pants off you guys with morsels from my next build - a non-folding Raleigh Twenty frame I picked up for £4.99 GBP last year that's destined to become some sort of road-bike with possibly 650c (ISO 571mm) wheels, or if that's too tall and order, 559mm (MTB)...

  14. Review of Abio Bikes - Are belt drives ready for prime time?

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by the guys at Abio Bikes. "Would you mind test riding one of our folding bikes?", they asked. I had never heard of Abio Bikes, but hey, if someone wants to offer me a new bike to ride for a while, I'm not genetically built to turn that offer down. Turns out Abio...

To make a long story short, I didn't want to overhaul my Sturmey Archer XRF8 hub again, having had less than complete success on previous attempts, so I took it to my local bike shop where, they assured me, they know about these things. Four weeks later, I picked it up last Saturday. The bike...

Wytze van Mansum's concept portfolio has several interesting bike and bike-related design ideas, including an unusual drive train for folding bikes (scroll halfway down) and the Cannondale Dutchess (scroll to the bottom), a recently-built prototype the company commissioned.

  20. Bike Friday Tikit with Dual Drive

Hi all, I'm thinking about possibly buying a tikit sometime in the near future, and I'm wondering what people generally think about the dual drive compared with a double or triple chainring? I'd like the ability to use the bike for occasional touring, although its primary purpose would be for...
