  2. TK2 Front wheel axle has flats...

I just picked up my Felt TK2 from the shop. The bike is gorgeous and feels amazing. The is a problem though, right out of the box: to the shop and my surprise, the front wheel axle has flats on it. That is, the threaded section the nut goes on appears to be ground down to make parallel flats that...

  5. njs a necessity?

I should have done this research beforehand but it's too late now. I have a pair of suntour superbe pro pedals for sale on ebay and a buyer asked if they're stamped njs. They're not. Does this mean they're not track pedals. The cages are definitely track. Is the stamp necessary or just a plus?...

  8. Trek T1 vs. Felt TK2

Yep, another compare bikes/omg what bike should I get thread(!). Basically I need a track bike. I'm doing most of my racing in Kenosha, with a few in T-Town. I can get both of these bikes at EP so I don't really need other suggestions. I'm like 6'3 and race 3's on the road if that matters at all. ...

  10. downsides to used keirin framesets?

After several seasons of xc mountain bike, cyclocross, and road racing, I decided to venture into the realm of track racing and it is an absolute blast. the thing is, my current bike is bombproof and weighs in at around 23 pounds. 11. Motobecane Messenger

Is this a good enough beginner frame for racing? I have one built up for use on the road and it's cheaper for me to swap bars and take off my brake than to buy a whole new bike. Would I notice a serious difference when racing on a "true track" frame?
